If you are unhappy with the shape or size of your breasts, we encourage you to visit our West Hills Hospital & Medical center for a breast augmentation consultation.
Every patient has a different reason for choosing Breast Implant Surgery. At West Hills Hospital & Medical center, we spend time during every breast implant consultation to address your questions or concerns, and we personalize every procedure based on your aesthetic goals. Breast augmentation with saline breast implants is always a popular choice for our patients in West Hills Hospital & Medical center. Breast implants offer a solution for women who are self-conscious about their small breasts, or feel their chest is disproportionate to the rest of their body. Breast implants are also ideal for women who have lost firmness in their chest after having children or losing weight. At West Hills Hospital & Medical center, the model breast implant patient is someone who has set realistic goals for their surgery, and is seeking improvement and enhanced self-esteem rather than perfection. Because every patient is different, our approach to each breast implant surgery begins with a thorough discussion of treatment options. The surgeons at our West Hills Hospital & Medical center currently use saline breast implants, and we can advise patients about the pros and cons of each type of implant placement (i.e. under or over the muscle) during the initial breast implant consultation.

Candidates
Good candidates for breast augmentation are physically healthy women with realistic expectations for the results of their procedure. These candidates have fully developed breasts, but their breasts may be losing shape and volume, vary in shape or size, or the candidate is just unhappy with the size of their breasts.
What to Expect
Breast augmentation is a highly individualized procedure. Your doctor will discuss your goals and expectations with you, such as your desired size and shape, and they will help you choose an implant type and incision site. They will also help you understand what you need to do to prepare for your surgery and give you post-operative directions.
After your procedure, you will require 24-48 hours for recovery, as well as an additional few days with reduced activity. Even after this recovery period, you will likely experience soreness and swelling for a few weeks. You will need to attend any follow-up visits scheduled with your doctor, and continue to follow directions to properly maintain your breast implants.
